麻將的「萬、筒、條」是在

的「護糧牌」基礎上的叫法，筒代表着火藥槍的截面，幾筒就代表着用了幾支火藥槍；條則代表着用細繩串起來的麻雀，幾條就是捕捉了幾串麻雀；萬就代表着酬金，幾萬就代表着賞金的數目。
