In January, Natura &Co closed the acquisition of Avon Products, Inc. which makes it the fourth largest pure-play beauty firm in the world. Its shareholders will own 76% of the combined company. This deal is subject to regulatory approvals.

As the CEO of Natura &Co, Joao Paulo Brotto Goncalves Ferreira is charged with growing the company's international presence. He was previously a Vice President-Supply Chain at Unilever Brazil and Latin America. He holds a MBA from the University of Michigan.

He has led the transformation of Natura from a traditional direct-selling firm to a modern digital one. The company's digitalization has led to increased productivity and the implementation of 17 consecutive quarters of growth.

Natura &Co will begin trading its shares on the New York Stock Exchange through ADRs in January. This will allow the group to capitalize on its synergies with its brands and expand its product offerings and reach to 200 million customers around the world.

The company also has appointed a new top leadership team to lead the next phase of growth. Roberto Marques will serve as the Group Chief Executive Officer, and Angela Cretu, will manage the company's global operations. She will oversee the management and operations of Natura outside of Latin America.

Joao Paulo was employed for over twenty years at Unilever before joining Natura. He held a variety of positions, including Vice President Supply Chain. His last position at the company was Vice President of Operations and Logistics.

He worked for many years at Unilever before joining Avon. He has extensive experience building consumer-oriented companies in emerging markets. In addition to his work at Avon He is also an investor and board member of RoC Skincare in New York.

He is the Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer at Avon. In addition, he has overseen the development of a new method of social selling using technology.

Fernando Acosta began his career at Unilever as a management trainee. He has worked in the United Kingdom and Europe. Later, he held high-ranking positions in Unilever's Latin American operations.

He was the Category President for Latin America at Unilever from 1999 until 2004. His job included overseeing the most popular brands of the company such as Dove. He was also involved in the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty that launched new products such as Pro Age.

After his time as the senior vice president of Unilever's Middle Americas division, he moved to an international position. He was Brand President of Dove Global at Unilever from 2006 until 2008. He was based in New York during this period.

He was previously a Regional President for Latin America at Avon. His responsibility included driving sales leader and developing the brand's Latin American strategy. He also helped in the development of new product lines, such as Pro Age.
