Re:Nylon

The Business of Fashion reports that the repurposed fabric is part of a larger effort to change the entire Prada portfolio from virgin nylon to Re:Nylon by 2021. In addition to the six new Re:Nylon bags, the range includes a pair of shoes and boots made from recycled ECONYL as well as various apparel items made of the same fabrication.

To celebrate the launch, Prada partnered with National Geographic to create a series of videos called "What We Carry" that showcases the cutting-edge process which is used to make Re:Nylon bags.
